Me and my boyfriend decided to try something a little new this year. Last year we went to Halloween Haunt. This year, we decided to go Fright Night at Winchester Mystery House.
They also gave out each person a square piece of pumpkin spice chocolate from Ghirardelli! High quality chocolate, yo.
My make for the night~
Fright Night consisted of two attractions. The first one was a self-guided tour through the Winchester house. The second was the haunted maze. It was my first time actually touring the house so I found it to be quite interesting, albeit eerie. The house was in darkness and they provided you with a flashlight (which you get to keep as a souvenir, yay!) and a headset to tour the house. Got to learn a lot about Sarah Winchester and her strange home, which was teeny, narrow, and had a lot of windows and stairs leading to nowhere. Creeeeppyyy house.
After the maze, we were lead directly to the haunted maze. And here is where the fun begins! I didn't capture any pictures, but the attention to detail in the maze was fantastic. You can tell they spent a lot of time into the production. The actors did a good job as well, but I didn't get scared because I waited for the group in front of us to get jumped at first. AHAHHHAHA. Yeah, I'm a wuss.
The next day, the excitement continues!!
It was my sister's birthday weekend too so we decided to give her a surprise birthday dinner at one of our favorite Japanese bakery/cafe.
I love this bakery cafe. It is owned by a Japanese woman/mother and the food and the decor, everything just feels so homey. They provided home-cooked meals for dinner which was declicious!!
Ohhhh my goodd, best bread ever!! Not surprised since this bakery IS known for their bread~ It was so good we kept asking for refills on these ^^;;
And the main course arrives!! My hamburg steak with ponzu sauce. Topped with daikon, potato salad, peppers, tomatoes, and some fruits. That potato salad was to DIE for *droool*
After dinner, a few of us decided to do some pumpkin carving~

It was my first time carving pumpkins so I had a blast ^^ Wish I could carve some more, lol.
