Innisfree Mineral Melting BB Cushion in #21 Natural Beige Review [ibuybeauti]

Monday, September 8, 2014

I've been using the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream for the longest time. But with all the recent BB cushion hype, I succumbed and purchased one to try for myself! I went around and researched for a good BB cushion and decided to purchase the Innisfree Mineral Melting BB Cushion from ibuybeauti.com. From my understanding, this particular line has been discontinued. I believe the ones that are currently being sold are the Long Wear and Water Glow lines. I am very happy with my purchase from ibuybeauti. Shipping only took about a week and they gave tons of samples which I'm a total sucker for. I purchased this BB cushion in the color #21 Natural Beige.

The casing of the BB cushion is circular and very light weight! Easy for traveling!

What it looks like when opened. It comes with a mirror and a BB puff. Excuse my dirty puff ><;

What it looks like when you open the lid to the cushion

So you're supposed to take the puff and press it against the cushion until the BB cream comes out onto the puff. Then you simply dab the puff onto your face. I would say the BB cushion is light coverage but is very buildable. It also comes with SPF 50, which is a plus! The color of this BB cushion is much more white compared to my Missha BB Cream which I also own in Natural Beige. I actually like it a lot more compared to the Missha one. My Missha one is also light, but this BB cushion just feels more airy compared to it. Maybe it's the puff application? Anyway I'm really enjoying this BB cushion and I can see why it's so popular. I've already ordered a refill of the Long Wear BB Cushion! I'm interested in looking into other brands of BB cushions as well. If you guys have any suggestions for a good BB cushion, I'd love to hear some recommendations! ^^

Mole removal + Outfit snaps

Monday, August 12, 2013
About a week ago, I finally decided to remove ALL the moles that were on my face. I had almost 20 moles on my face that were removed. Even I was surprised by the amount present! I've had people tell me that they didn't know I had so many moles on my face until I pointed them out. Sounds about right to me, people don't usually go looking for moles on other people's faces :P

Anyway, I had my moles removed through electro-cauterization. Which is pretty much getting them burned/zapped off. It hurt so bad :( But hey, beauty is pain, right?

This was taken a couple days after the surgery. My skin is healing and forming scabs, making the moles extremely noticeable. I couldn't really put anything on my face because I was afraid of irritating the healing process. I went to work and my boss asked me what was wrong with my face.. lol

Anddddd a little over a week after the surgery! The mole scabs have fallen off! There are scars, however, but those will eventually fade. Nothing makeup can't cover ^^b

Just a side by side comparison so you can see the difference :)

More pictures just 'cause I'm so happy my moles are gone~ HELLO MOLE-FREE SKIN

And here are some recent outfit snaps!

Romper from Forever 21. Love the pattern on it, it's so fun!

Striped crop top from Forever 21. Levi's high waisted shorts from Get High Waisted.

Oh yeah, and I bought this Olay Pro X Cleansing System!

So many good reviews for this cleansing system that I just had to try it. Especially since I hear it's a cheap dupe for the Clarisonic! I have a problem with clogged pores and the need to exfoliate. I hope this cleansing system works for me!

Outfit Snaps: High waisted shorts

Tuesday, July 23, 2013
Summer is here and it's been brewing hot. So I busted out my shorts!! Here are a couple of recent outfit snaps of me in high waisted shorts:

Outfit 1. Wearing striped crop top from Urban Outfitters and black shorts from H&M

Outfit 2. Wearing a sheer blouse from H&M, bralette from Brandy Melville, and shorts from Forever 21

Outfit 3. Wearing crop top from ASOS and Levi's high waisted shorts from Get High Waisted

Recently I tend to reach for my high waisted shorts whenever I go out. It's so easy to pair with. I can just throw on a crop top or a t-shirt and be out the door and still look somewhat stylish haha. I'm in love with the whole crop top and high waisted shorts look. I must admit, though, that high waisted shorts can be very uncomfortable to sit down in as they can ride up. @_@ That's not gonna stop me from rocking them this season though! <3
